Amity Living Water Campaign Named Among Official List of Belt and Road Achievements
The Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held in Beijing on 18th October 2023. Marking the 10th Anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, the forum welcomed guests from over 150 countries to discuss the multitude of projects introduced and implemented under the Initiative over the past decade.
The Amity Foundation’s Living Water Campaign was listed among the achievements of the Belt and Road Initiative in the Chairman’s Statement document published at the forum. Over the years, the Campaign’s projects have touched the lives of countless people in countries such as Cambodia, Nepal, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Kenya.
Speaking at The Third Silk Road NGO Cooperation Network Forum on 19th October, Secretary-General Ling Chunxiang of The Amity Foundation retraced Amity’s footsteps through 38 years of international development, re-affirming Amity’s commitment to continue reaching out and strengthening its global network in line with the Belt and Road Initiative.
