Amity established its Amity Beijing Office in 2019. The office is dedicated to expanding and strengthening Amity’s partnerships in Beijing, broadening Amity’s information channels, enhancing Amity’s sector advocacy, and raising brand awareness and recognition for Amity.

Highlights:

Amity actively participated in sector seminars, supported sector researches, and shared Amity experience. Amity staff participated in the communication meeting of “Every Woman, Every Child” China Partnership Network organized by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, gave a speech on the “International Humanitarian Relief and Overseas Risk Prevention and Control” meeting hosted by the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, attended the “Impact of U.S. Policy on China on Chinese Social Organization’s Going Global and the ‘Belt and Road’ people-to-people bond” sharing session, and exchange activities such as “Going Global and International Cooperation Experience on COVID-19 Prevention and Control” organized by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Amity also shared “Sprouts on Earth” Maternal and Child Health Care Project on the kick-off meeting of Care for Women’s Safety Alliance jointly initiated by a number of domestic renowned companies. Amity spoke at the “Seminar on Challenges and Responses for International Social Work under the Pandemic” hosted by China Development Brief and participated in the closed-door seminar on “Going Global by Chinese Social Organizations” organized by Beijing Normal University, sharing Amity’s going global practice and experience.
