Living Water Campaign Competition

提到水的價值,可能我們會想到每季要繳交的水費,又或者是買飲料的價錢。但水的價值不只是在金錢上,聯合國的2030可持續發展目標更提醒我們,水對構成健康、家庭、文化、教育、經濟和自然環境都具有重大的意義。

生活在水資源相對充裕的環境裡,我們很少會認真思考… 在地球另一端,仍然有超過22億人缺乏安全飲用水,42億人缺乏衛生設施。一直生活在水危機下的貧困家庭,面對新型肺炎的影響便更加脆弱,更需要協助。

「活水行動」旨在提高大眾的水危機意識,並一直堅持以行動為貧困缺水地區籌款建設安全用水及衛生設施。愛德基金會(香港) 將會於2021年12月至2022年2月期間舉辦「2021- 2022年度「活水行動」海報及標語設計比賽」及「全港學界「活水」攝影比賽」。我們誠邀  貴校學生踴躍參與比賽,鼓勵年青一代思考生活和惜水的重要,把創意發揮在水與環保相關的可持續發展工作上,並從自身出發,與全社會共同為環保而作出努力。

When it comes to the value of water, we might think of the water fee, or the price of a drink. But the value of water is not only limited in money. The United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals remind us that water is of great significance to health, family, culture, education, economy and natural environment.

Living in an environment with relatively abundant water resources, we rarely think seriously… On the other side of the earth, more than 2.2 billion people still lack safe drinking water and 4.2 billion lack sanitation facilities. Poor families who have been living in the water crisis are more vulnerable to the impact of the new type of pneumonia and need assistance.

The “Living Water Action” aims to raise the public’s awareness of water crises, and has always insisted on using actions to raise funds for the construction of safe water and sanitation facilities for poor water-scarce areas. The Amity Foundation (Hong Kong) will organize the “2021-2022 “Living Water Action” Poster and Slogan Design Competition” and the “Hong Kong Academic “Living Water” Photography Competition” from December 2021 to February 2022. We sincerely invite students from your school to actively participate in the competition to encourage the younger generation to think about the importance of life and water conservation, to use their creativity in sustainable development work related to water and environmental protection, and to start from themselves and work with the whole society for environmental protection.
